AC/DC's Music Is Too Expensive for "Cobra Kai"

One of the (many) awesome things about "Cobra Kai" is the music. There's been Motley Crue . . .Poison . . . Ratt . . . even DEE SNIDER has done a cameo. But you know who hasn't been on the soundtrack? AC/DC.

Series creator Jon Hurwitz said AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" has been written into the script multiple times. Only problem is . . . they've never been able to afford it.

Quote, "A lot of times we write things into the script, but sometimes we'll write something into the script that we can't afford. Our fantasy is having the music budget to have nonstop AC/DC and Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses."

SPOILER: The last "Thunderstruck" attempt was in the recent season during a montage of Johnny Lawrence training Daniel LaRusso HIS way. The LESS costly song used ended up being "Breakin' Outta Hell" by Airbourne.

Korn Possibly Teasing New Song

Nothing is confirmed, but it really seems like we'll be getting some new Korn music from the looks of their website. Fans who went to the site found a darkened screen that has tree branches on it covering up the moonlight. Then there are a bunch of floating hands holding heart-shaped faces on top of that with the words "Pulling away from this veil I see...." appearing at the bottom of the screen.

If you choose to click on the lyrics at the bottom, you can download an MP4 file titled "Now." This has a snippet of Ray Luzier on the drums of a new song. Also, one of the six floating hand-heads is lit up and active, whereas the rest are dull. This could mean that as each one becomes active, a new instrument preview will be available to download.

As we previously told you, Korn announced a new album back in November. “Requiem” will serve as the follow-up to 2019’s “The Nothing.” It's expected to officially be released on February 4th, 2022.

Dr. Dre Could Lose Millions If the Super Bowl Halftime Show Doesn't Happen

DR. DRE is scheduled to do the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige. But if the show gets canceled due to COVID, he's out MILLIONS of dollars.

Dre is reportedly putting up most of the money for the show himself. And he DOES have event cancellation insurance. But there's a catch.

Ever since the SARS outbreak of the early 2000s, insurance companies have been building "communicable disease exceptions" into their policies.

So basically, the ONE THING that could lead to the cancellation of the show at this point is the ONE THING he's not insured for.

Not that he doesn't have millions to spare, but he did just shell out $100 million in his divorce settlement. So he probably wouldn't be happy with another huge loss.
