Music: A Young Dude with Disabilities Got a Free Dimebag Guitar

A Young Dude with Disabilities Got a Free Dimebag Guitar

I'd like to hear more stories like this in the New Year: There's a store called J.B. Hart Music in Grand Junction, Colorado. And a young man named Fallon used to come in all the time and ask to play the signature DIMEBAG DARRELL guitar.

Fallon has intellectual and developmental disabilities due to a condition called Williams Syndrome, but he's way into music, and he'd always wanted his own guitar.

One day last year, someone came into the store and saw Fallon playing the axe. After Fallon left, the anonymous customer BOUGHT the guitar, and asked the staff to give it to him next time he came in.

Well, the staff didn't know it, but Fallon moved from Colorado to Texas, so they didn't see him for EIGHT MONTHS. But he came back to visit family, and on New Year's Eve he went to the shop and FINALLY got his gift.

(J.B. Hart posted some pics, and you can see how psyched Fallon is.)

Jim Carrey Is on The Weeknd's New Album That Comes Out Friday

THE WEEKND announced yesterday that he's coming out with his new album "Dawn FM" on Friday. It features guests like TYLER THE CREATOR, LIL WAYNE, and . . . JIM CARREY(???)

Now, this isn't a TOTAL surprise, considering last August The Weeknd told us about his friendship with Jim over their mutual love of telescopes. But still, we will have to see to what degree Jim is featured.

In a preview clip, it sounds like he's acting as kind of a radio DJ, but there's no word if that's his only role.

Jim says, quote, "I listened to 'Dawn FM' with my good friend Abel [The Weeknd] last night. It was deep and elegant and it danced me around the room. I'm thrilled to play a part in his symphony."

To which The Weeknd responded, quote, "Thank you for being a part of this. It’s kismet . . . Full circle."

Liam Gallagher Reviews Brother Noel's New Song

On New Year's Day, Noel Gallagher shared a demo for his new song, "Trying to Find a World That's Been and Gone: Part 1." One part of the song has Noel singing, “You give me the will to carry on / In a place where I belong / As we try to find a world that’s been and gone.”

In his Twitter post, he wrote "So we didn't actually get there in the end, did we? I finished writing/demoing the next NGHFB album about 10 days ago. Thought you might want to hear this little piece which - like last year's offering - sounds quite appropriate for this New Year's Day. Hope you had THE BEST night (as much as was allowed anyway) and hopefully, we'll catch up somewhere in the summer."

Well, brother Liam Gallagher felt the need to respond, in a typical brotherly fashion. Liam tweeted directly at his brother, writing, “Miserable arse cheer up you billionaire.” Noel annoyed his brother, but fans loved it, giving it more than 5,000 likes.
