The Most Popular Christmas Cookie in Each State . . .Texas — Christmas Cookie Ice Cream
Someone pored through Google data to see which Christmas COOKIES are exceptionally popular in each state.
"Christmas Cookie Fudge" was the top cookie in six states: Alabama, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
Italian Christmas Cookies were #1 in five: Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Washington, D.C. also likes "Old-Fashioned" Italian Christmas Cookies.
Traditional Christmas Sugar Cookies were the favorite in just two states, Arkansas and Nevada . . . and Snowball Cookies are popular in Michigan and Ohio.
Several states prefer HEALTHIER-sounding options: Gluten-Free Christmas Cookies were the top choice in Maine, Minnesota, Montana, and Wisconsin . . . and Keto Christmas Cookies were #1 in Colorado, Iowa, South Dakota, and Wyoming. And the state of Washington loves Vegan Christmas Cookies.
And some states went rogue: New York's pick was Anise Christmas Cookies . . . California wants Snoopy Christmas Cookies . . . Hawaii likes Cherry Christmas Cookies . . . and Virginia loves Ooey Gooey Christmas Cookies.

Chipotle And Starbucks Are Embracing Drive-Thrus
We all know that the way we order and consume food has changed over the past couple of years with the pandemic and Chipotle and Starbucks are two chains that have changed their outlook on the way they are serving their customers. Those changes in large part coming because of “our new reality.”
- While Chipotle previously relied on the in-restaurant dining experience, but drive-thru and digital orders are now more of a priority. For example, they’ve also added Chipoitlanes, their version of drive-thrus. There are now 284 Chipotlanes in the US up from about 40 at the beginning of the year.
- Starbucks is also changing their ways as drive-thrus in suburban and rural locations helped the company “carry us through the COVID period” according to John Culver, Starbucks group president North America and COO. Now? The majority of Starbucks stores have drive-thrus and some mall locations have even been shut down to concentrate more on the drive-thru business.
Both restaurants also say that they are concentrating on making drive-thru orders faster and more efficient and decreasing wait times, so it would appear that the changes that appeared temporary…are permanent!
