Mao has been at Friends For Life for about a year and a half! She's a sweet senior girl who really loves to be around other cats. She likes people okay, too, but other cats are definitely her preference. So if you've already got a kitty, Mao would be a great choice for adoption since she's a #CatPal.
Because of Covid-19, their shelter is currently closed to the public, but if you're interested in Mao, you can fill out an adoption application and someone will get in touch. The application is non-committal and is good for six months after you fill it out. They'll work on making sure you're matched with a cat that's a good fit. More on Mao:
Mao lived her entire life as an indoor/outdoor cat. That is, until her owner had health issues and could no longer care for her. She is very friendly once you get to know her, but she doesn’t like a whole lot of change in her life, so it might take her a while to trust you. Once you’ve earned that trust, she’ll be the friend you’ve been searching for! She loves to listen to you tell her about your day, and might even tell you about hers in return! She’s a very loveable girl, and just wants to return that love to someone special.
