NIN Play 'The Perfect Drug' Live For The 1st Time Ever!

Last night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Nine Inch Nails played one of their 90s hits live for the first time ever.  According to noted NIN authority Scott Wampler over at Birth.Movies.Death, the track has a complicated history.  Apparently Trent Reznor is not a huge fan of the song and has implied in the past that fans shouldn't expect to hear it at Nine Inch Nails shows.  The song was originally released on the soundtrack for the 1997 David Lynch movie Lost Highway and turned into a decent radio and MTV hit.

Despite those past comments, the band broke it out last night at the Red Rocks stop on their Cold And Black tour.  The band will be headlining this weekend's River City Rockfest in San Antonio.
