Elon Musk Just Made A Rookie Mistake

Even uber rich folks make mistakes.

Looks like Elon Musk is going to have to change his phone number. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX accidentally shared his personal phone number on Twitter last night. Musk was trying to get a hold of the technical director at Oculus, Facebook's virtual reality project, by tweeting his personal number in what was supposed to be a direct message.

CNBC got through on the number and heard a recorded message from the video game ”God of War.” The audio clip, recorded by game creator David Jaffe, is one of two secret codes hidden in the game. “By the Gods you’ve done it,” the message says. “Somehow you’ve found your way here to me. I offer you my congratulations and my respect.”

However, the billionaire forgot to make it a private message and wound up sending it out to 16-point-seven million followers. The tweet was quickly deleted.
