Despite Album Reissue, Noel Gallagher Says Oasis Will Not Reunite.

In today’s issue of “Things That Don’t Surprise Us,” Noel Gallagher has ended rumors that Oasis will reunite. After an increasing number of tweets from Noel and his brother Liam Gallagher that seemed to hint a reunion tour- or even a show- would be possible, Noel had some very definite things to say.

“There won’t be a tour; we won’t come back to play them together,” revealed the older brother. That sentence put an end to recent speculation a reunion could happen following an interview in which Noel said Liam’s “people should contact (Noel’s) people.” Liam commented by trolling Noel, calling him a “potato” and accusing him of damaging their brand.

But all is not lost for “Oasis” fans, as Noel confessed Oasis plans to release a 30th-anniversary edition of their 1994 album “Definitely Maybe.” “In the Sony archives, we’ve found tapes dating to those sessions,” said the elder Gallagher. “We thought they were lost, but … they are wonderful versions of those songs, some acoustic versions.” No date has been announced, but it’s probably safe to assume the reissue would come out next year.

Jelly Roll Will Never Stop Working for Tennessee's At-Risk Youth

Jelly Roll won't let his soaring popularity get in the way of his main objective:  Helping people who are struggling, just like he was.

Last year, Jelly donated $250,000 to support youth who were locked up at Nashville's Davidson County Detention Center . . . a facility where HE spent time as a teen.  And there's more where that came from.

In an interview with the "New York Times", he says, "That's not even scratching the surface of my plan.  I'm going to build halfway houses and transitional centers.  That's my real heart."

He says it's "devastating" for him to think of all the years he lost while being juvie.  He adds, "I just missed so much of life.  So, I want to be remembered as a guy that did something for the kids in this town.

Jelly Roll may be a new artist, but he's 38 . . . and he's seen a lot.  In addition to being incarcerated, he's also dealt with poverty and addiction.

Corey Taylor Announces New Deal, New Solo Album

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor keeps getting busier. While remaining on with the band, the singer’s solo career continues to reach new heights. Now Taylor has announced a record deal with international music moguls BMG.

"I wanted to work with BMG because they came in super hot wanting to work with me, and they've been keeping the fires burning for rock, punk, and metal over the last few years," admitted Taylor. And to keep the good news flowing, Taylor announced his second solo album, “CBF2,” would be published under this new deal.

Taylor has also managed to get BMG to sign Taylor’s own label, Decibel Cooper. "Decibel Cooper will not only allow me to release my own music and art worldwide, but it also gives me a solid way to help bolster any rad new acts I want," Taylor explains. "BMG is going to help me put my money where my mouth is — giving a boost to the next generation." Taylor’s new album is due out later this year.

Rivers Cuomo Enlists Fans To Help Him Write Weezer Musical.

Rivers Cuomo Enlists Fans To Help Him Write Weezer Musical: If at first, you don’t succeed, try again… and get your fans to help you. At least, that seems to be the motto of Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo. "

Consequence" reports that, despite Weezer’s lack of success during an attempted Broadway residency, Cuomo has asked fans for help in writing a new musical. “Does anyone want to help me write the story for a musical (which would be the next Weezer album),” wrote Cuomo on Twitter. “We could make follow-up songs to (Cuomo’s unfinished 1994 space rock opera “Songs From The Black Hole”) or start afresh.” That’s an interesting way for an internationally famous band to launch a project, but who knows where it will go from here?
