New Music from Metallica, Dirty Heads, and LA Guns

• "72 Seasons", Metallica.  This is their first album in seven years.

James Hetfield says the title was inspired by the theory that the first 18 years of our lives form "our true or false selves."  The concept that we were told "who we are" by our parents could pigeonhole our personality.

You could win a Code for a digital download of Metallica's new album "72 Seasons" in stores and online today. For your chance to win, email rodryashow@thebuzz.com, and in the subject line, write BLACKENED. The winner selection happens at 9:50 am.

Metallica Will Broadcast Two Tour Dates In Theaters Across The Globe

Rock band Metallica has a busy year ahead of them, and they’re using movie theaters to help them reach an even wider audience. In addition to the previous announcement that a worldwide listening party for their new album would be hosted in theaters, the band will also utilize them for their upcoming concert.

For a fraction of the cost of attending live, “Metallica: M72 World Tour Live From Arlington, TX – A Two Night Event” will be broadcast in theaters around the globe during two nights from the band’s upcoming tour stops. The shows, in support of “72 Seasons,” will be on Friday, August 18th, while night two will broadcast on Sunday, August 20th.

And to entice fans to attend both nights, Metallica will feature completely different set lists for each evening. Some speculate this means attendees will hear 30 songs from one of rock’s biggest acts. To purchase tickets to either Metallica’s album listening party or their two-night concern, click here.

Blink-182 will perform tonight at Coachella.  It'll be their first show together in almost 10 years.

Tom Delonge made the surprise announcement late Wednesday night with an image of a monitor with the crude lyrics of "Family Reunion".  Then an official Coachella account posted the updated schedule.

Their reunion tour was supposed to start last month in South America, but Travis Barker had to have surgery for an injured finger.  They'll kick off their tour next month.

No word if they'll also be performing next week for Weekend 2.  But you can catch tonight's show on the YouTube livestream.
