Avenged Sevenfold Unveils Their Own Ticketing System.

Avenged Sevenfold is the latest band to have enough of the ticketing system. We just told you that legendary rockers The Who have given up touring in the US due to skyrocketing prices. Well, now, Avenged has announced they’re playing by their own rules to help ensure fans get access to their shows.

The band has announced “TicketPass,” which is their own “verification and rewards program” for all those who want to loosen the chains of the big ticket vendors. Avenged clarifies that the system will provide incentives for fans who consistently purchase band merchandise or tickets that will, in turn, help them access concert tickets early, among other things.

“If over the course of a year you have purchased a T-shirt, vinyl and been to four shows," explained the group. “We will be able to upgrade your 'TicketPass' and allow you to purchase tickets sooner than others who have not." This news comes at a convenient time, as the band launches their summer tour of North America on May 19th in Daytona, FL.
