All-American Rejects Announces Biggest Tour Since 2017

With New Found Glory, Motion City Soundtrack, and The GetUp Kids live on October 12th at 713 Music Hall. Win a pair of tickets for the Houston show on The Rod Ryan Show on Twitter

Fans of The All-American Rejects may be getting a little restless to see the band. Despite more recent appearances (like 2022’s When We Were Young festival), the band has not hosted a lengthy tour since 2017.

But that’s all about to change. The “Dirty Little Secret” rockers are hitting the road this summer with a tour that includes a number of fellow pop/punk acts. Following a series of tour teasers online, the Rejects confirmed The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, and The GetUp Kids would join them on the road. New Found Glory is set to play on every date except for one.

The “Wet Hot All American Summer” tour launches August 11th in Tampa, FL. It’s scheduled to jump around the US before concluding on October 14th in Oklahoma City. Check out some dates below and be on the lookout for tickets starting this Friday (April 7th).

Despite Gary Rossington's Death, Lynyrd Skynyrd Will Continue

Gary Rossington, Lynyrd Skynyrd's last surviving original member, died last month.  But that will NOT mean the end of the band.  After "much discussion," they've decided to soldier on.

Skynyrd issued a statement saying they, quote, "feel that continuing to perform live and keeping the music alive, is in the best interest of the fans and everyone involved."

Lead singer Johnny Van Zant added, quote, "We have come together with the founding band member estates, and everyone involved, and feel the music should continue for everyone to love and enjoy.

"So we will continue to perform for the Skynyrd Nation."

That means the Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour with ZZ Top will go as scheduled this summer.
