Music: Saliva Guitarist Wayne Swinny Dies At The Age of 59.

Saliva Guitarist Wayne Swinny Passes

Wayne Swinny, guitarist and last original member of the classic Saliva lineup, passed away from a massive brain hemorrhage early yesterday. He was 59.

The band was on tour when Swinney was rushed to the hospital Tuesday. Bobby Amaru, Saliva's lead singer, said, "I’m not even sure what to think or how to feel right now. My heart aches for Wayne’s family, his friends, and anyone who had the joy of being around him. My heart aches for his daughter Nikki. He loved that little girl so much. He would go out of his way to make sure you had a good time. I’m grateful that I got to share almost 12 years of my life with Wayne on the stage and most importantly off the stage."

Amaru continues, "He was the older brother I never had. I learned so much from him and we had a f***ing blast together! I will cherish it all for the rest of my life! God Bless you Wayne. I know we’ll meet again!!"

The band posted an announcement on their Facebook page prior to Swinny's passing.

Jewel Says Her Mother Stole $100 MILLION from Her.

Do you think YOUR mom's annoying?  Jewel would like you to kindly PUT A SOCK IN IT.  At least your mom didn't steal $100 MILLION from you.

She says, quote, "I didn't realize what my mom was until I was 30-something.  I woke up and realized she embezzled all my money, over $100 million."

"Thirty-four years old, realize I'm $3 million in debt, realize my mom stole it, realize everything I thought my mom was, isn't what she was, very difficult psychological thing to come to terms with."

Jewel is 48 now.  Her parents split up when she was 8, and she lived with her dad.  He was abusive . . . but what she didn't realize at the time is that the reason she lived with him was that her mom, quote, "didn't want to be a mom."

New Senate Bill Would Ban Hidden Concert Ticket Fees Mar 23, 2023

The Junk Fee Prevention Act has been introduced to Senate by two Democrats responding to President Biden’s call for fee transparency.

This could change how concert tickets are sold by reducing added fees and inflating ticket prices.

This legislation would disincentivize junk fees by requiring companies to “clearly and conspicuously” display the total price of a ticket with all fees included.

Violators would be punished by the FTC or the state attorney general regionally.
