Jamie Lee Curtis Wants Bands like Coldplay and U2 to Do Matinee Concerts 

 

 

Jamie Lee Curtis still likes to rock. But she's also 64 years old. So she'd like bands to do more MATINEE concerts, so she can get to bed early.

 

 

She told "Hollywood Reporter" on the red carpet at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, quote, "I am gonna just say this now as a taunt and as a suggestion.  U2: do a matinee. What about a 12 noon concert, Coldplay?..

 

 

"Bruce Springsteen: do [an effing] matinee! You're old! Why wouldn't you let me come see you in your glory days, pun intended . . . I will come and hear your five-hour concert at 2 o'clock, and I'm gonna be home and in bed by 7:30."

Foo Fighters Among Headliners For Outside Lands.

The infamous Outside Lands festival is hitting 15 years at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, and they are celebrating with a monster line-up. The August event has announced the roster will be led by some of the biggest acts across multiple genres.

Foo Fighters Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Janelle Monáe, Megan Thee Stallion, and Maggie Rogers have confirmed to headline the three-day event. But the fun doesn’t stop there, with Odesza, Lil Yachty, Interpol, and Orville Peck just some of the hoards of talent scheduled to appear. 

Outside Lands runs from August 11th – August 13th in San Francisco. Tickets are on sale starting today.
