Jason Newsted Says Alex Van Halen Reached Out To Him After Eddie's Death
We haven't heard much about Alex Van Halen's next musical move post-Eddie Van Halen's death. But Jason Newsted is now sharing that he almost toured with him and Joe Satriani. He's sharing that Alex reached out to him about six months ago about potentially doing a Van Halen tour.
Jason shares that Alex has picked Joe to play guitar and wanted to see if he'd play bass. He said he agreed to go to California to play with them and get a feel for things. But, ultimately, he says, “How could you [do it justice]? There’s nobody that can top it, so how do you show it honor? I didn’t want it to be viewed as a money grab. And then it kind of just all fizzled.”

Travis Barker Got Tattoo To Honor Taylor Hawkins
Travis Barker took to Instagram on Wednesday night to share a new tattoo he's getting done in honor of the late Taylor Hawkins. He shared a few pics from getting the tat done and added a pic of him with Hawkins from their younger years as the final pic.
Barker captioned the post by simply writing "HAWK forever." The tattoo itself is a detailed hawk design on the front of his ankle. Of course fiancée Kourtney Kardashian was by his side the whole time and can be seen the pics, including one of the two of them sharing a kiss.
