Report-Teen Killed On Florida Amusement Ride Shouldn’t Have Been Allowed On

Report: Teen Killed On Florida Amusement Ride Shouldn’t Have Been Allowed On - A Missouri teen killed last week in a fall from a Florida amusement park ride apparently should never have been allowed on the ride.

As we told youTyre Sampson died Thursday night after falling off the Free Fall ride at Orlando's ICON Park. Yesterday, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services released a copy of the operator's manual, and it says no one should be allowed on the ride if they weigh over 286 pounds.

Sampson's dad says the boy, who was a football player, weighed 320 pounds. The ride remains closed pending an investigation. Dollywood has closed their freefall ride as a result of this investigation, as it’s operated by the same company as the ICON Park ride.
