Auction With Paul McCartney, U2, and Kravitz Guitars Breaks Records

U2's The Edge organized an epic guitar action to benefit "Music Rising," supporting self-employed musicians impacted by disasters, such as the pandemic. The action had some record-smashing sales, and raised over $2 million!

Noel Gallagher Says He's Been Approached About Oasis Musical

An Oasis musical? Yes, the idea has been pitched to Noel Gallagher before!

He explains, “The idea of a musical has been floated to me on more than one occasion. Somebody had an idea of like a Noel Gallagher one called 'Everybody Is On The Run' and then there was an idea for another Oasis one.”

This isn't even the first time a musical has been brought up to him. Back in 2019, Gallagher said something similar to "The Sun," “The musical! People have been on to me about that for the last 10 years. And funnily enough, Live Forever is always the title. I spoke to an English guy who works on Broadway who knows about these things and he was like saying, ‘Your journey from rags to riches.’ And I was like, ‘Do you have to make it so Dickensian? I never wore any rags’. People do love that shit, I know. It’s inevitable it will happen one day. I will go and see it once.”

Noel's brother, Liam Gallagher, even shared on Twitter what he thinks a musical should look like. He wrote, "Oasis the musical 5 lads from Manchester start a band and take on the world the little 1 who writes the songs turns into a massive cunt sacks everyone except his little brother as he ain’t got the arse splits up the band there’s a storyline for ya THE END LG x."

We mean, wouldn't you go see that?!
