A Druggie Was Arrested for Drugs on His Way to His Court-Ordered Drug Program

Everyone has something they can't quit: whether it's fast food, shopping on Amazon, dating people with baggage, trying to make sourdough, or cheering for the Cleveland Browns. For one man, it’s drugs.

A 37-year-old man from New York named Barry Bowser was arrested for drug possession on Tuesday while heading to his court-ordered drug rehabilitation program. He was already on probation for a previous drug offense when he was stopped at the courthouse.

During the search, authorities discovered that he was in possession of 35 grams of heroin and fentanyl, crack cocaine, digital scales, and packaging materials. Although he narrowly avoided a 12-year prison sentence last time, officials have indicated that his probation deal is now off the table, and he is facing new drug charges.
