Carl’s Jr. Has Free Cali XL Burger With “Sad Mac Buy Back” Promotion
Carl’s Jr. has a promotion that lets customers get a free Cali XL burger, their newest menu item, for free by uploading a photo of a receipt for any McDonald’s burger this year. The Cali XL has a regular price of $5.99 and includes two 3.5oz charbroiled beef patties, two American cheese slices, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and Classic Sauce on a seeded bun.
The free burger promotion is good through November 21, 2025, and to get your free burger just upload a McDonald’s burger receipt from January 1 through November 11, 2025 at carlsjr.comsadmacbubyback. The company will add a free Cali XL to your My Rewards account and the reward will appear in your account starting November 22nd.
In addition, you can save even more by upgrading to a Cali XL combo with natural-cut fries and a Coke for an additional $2.

Domino’s Adds Spicy Chicken Ranch Pizza To Specialty Lineup
Domino’s Pizza has just added a new item to their specialty lineup with their new Spicy Chicken Ranch Pizza. The new pizza features grilled chicken breast, ranch, smoked bacon, jalapeños, mozzarella, and provolone and is topped with a drizzle of buffalo sauce.
The Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza joins the lineup of 10 other Speciatly Pizzas. They include the Philly Cheese Steak, Pacific Veggie, People’s Pizza-Deluxe, among others. All of the specialty pizzas are priced at $9.99 each for a medium size when the Domino’s Mix and Match deal is selected.
The new pizza is being marketed in a collaboration with Retta from “Parks and Rec.” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s executive vice president and chief marketing officer said in a press release “Typically, specialty pizzas come with premium prices, but at Domino’s, we’ve proudly partnered with the ‘Treat Yo Self’ queen, Retta, to tell customers that they don’t have to wait for a great deal to treat themselves to our most delicious, craveable pizzas – they’re $9.99 every day of the year!”
TV ads featuring Domino’s and Retta will be airing in the coming weeks. “Treat Yo Self” became an iconic catchphrase on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” when Retta’s character indulged in luxury items including massages, fine leather goods, clothes and more for one day each year.
