Pickles Are Taking Off For A Reason
Have you noticed a bit of a pickle craze lately? There’s a reason why. Pickle juice offers some real health benefits that go beyond just being a weird wellness trend. The biggest proven benefit is stopping muscle cramps quickly, which happens because the sour taste triggers a nerve response that tells cramping muscles to relax. This works in under 90 seconds and is much faster than just replacing lost electrolytes.
The juice is also great for hydration since it's packed with sodium and some potassium that you lose when you sweat. Andrew Altschuler, the co-founder of PiCKiE, says that pickle juice has taken off because of the many benefits, including the fact that it helps with healthy weight management. The vinegar in pickle juice may also help control blood sugar spikes after meals by slowing down how your body digests starches.
People use pickle juice for other things too, like hangovers, since it helps replace the salt and water you lose from drinking alcohol. Some folks also find it helps with sore throats or hiccups because of the strong taste and vinegar's germ-fighting properties. And of course, some people just really like the taste!

Cracker Barrel Brings Back Freshly Baked Biscuits After Fan Backlash
Cracker Barrel recently recovered from the backlash regarding their attempt to modernize their store design, menu, and logo and now they have backtracked on one of their most popular items – freshly baked biscuits. The chain had begun to serve pre-baked, frozen biscuits that were reheated and customers complained loudly about the quality.
It looks like they have fixed that problem by sharing a video with the caption “Fresh baked biscuits…better than you remember. Cracker Barrel was built on biscuits, so when you told us our biscuits weren’t the same anymore, we took it to heart.” They added that the biscuits will now be hand rolled and baked throughout the day.
Social media was excited with comments including “These look so phenomenal and delicious”, The biscuts r always my favorite” and “This is what Uncle Herschel wanted.” Uncle Herschel is the iconic Cracker Barrel character that has graced the logo for decades and is back after fans complained about removing his image from the logo in the “rebrand.”
Cracker Barrel has stopped the plan to remodel restaurants, brought back the old logo, and eliminated all DEI programs to the delight of its fans in the past few weeks, so public outcry has proved to be effective.
