Disturbed Inducted Into Illinois Rock Hall Of Fame.
Chicago metal band Disturbed was inducted into the Illinois Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Sunday at the Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet. Guitarist Dan Donegan thanked fans and recalled the band's early days playing in a public storage unit and local bars like Champs, Sidetracked, and J.J. Kelley's in the '90s. Drummer Mike Wengren joked that they wanted to perform at the ceremony but were told they couldn't because organizers were worried they'd burn down the banners, referencing reports that pyrotechnics during their March concert at Chicago's United Center damaged the Bulls' NBA championship banners. The band formed in 1996 with members from Chicago's South Side and claim they had to work harder than North Side bands to get noticed, promoting themselves by making fliers and cassette tapes. They're currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album "The Sickness" with a tour.

Twenty One Pilots Sues Temu Over Counterfeit Merch
Twenty One Pilots is filing a lawsuit against Chinese e-commerce giant Temu. The band is accusing the platform of manufacturing and selling a wide array of counterfeit merch that look like the band's official products. According to the complaint Twenty One Pilots' trademarks "have been damaged and put at risk by Temu's knowing and systematic marketing and sale of counterfeit versions," which they say is "confusing" and "identical" to their own trademarked items. Temu responded by saying “Temu respects the intellectual property rights of others and takes all infringement claims seriously. While we uphold this commitment, we will vigorously defend ourselves against unfounded allegations.”

Ed Sheeran Actually Has Plans for a Posthumous Album in His Will
Ed Sheeran recently announced plans to release an album AFTER HE DIES. It'll be called "Eject". And this is not a joke.
Ed just released his eighth album, "Play", on Friday.
And he has plans to do at least five more albums, titled "Pause", "Fast Forward", "Rewind", "Stop" . . . and then ultimately "Eject".
He says, quote, "It's actually in my will, and [my wife] Cherry gets to pick the tracks for it."
He envisions "Eject" as sort of like a greatest hits album of the 10 best unreleased songs he's written since he was 18.
He adds, quote, "You know how posthumous albums come out, but they're sort of unplanned. And I don't want to go and someone just to jumble up stuff and put it out. I want it to be planned."
