Music News: Yungblud Wore Both Ozzy And Iggy Pop At The VMAs

Yungblud Wore Both Ozzy And Iggy Pop At The VMAs

Yungblud paid tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne at the 2025 MTV VMAs by wearing meaningful pieces from rock legends, including Iggy Pop's leather trousers and a cross necklace given to him by Ozzy. The cross was originally a gift from Osbourne when they filmed the music video for "The Funeral," which Yungblud later returned to Ozzy before the "Back to The Beginning" gig. Yungblud told Nylon that Richard Stark from Chrome Hearts let him wear Iggy Pop's leather pants, saying, "if you can fit in them, you can wear them." During the show, Yungblud performed an Ozzy tribute covering "Crazy Train" and "Changes," later joined by Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry for "Mama, I'm Coming Home."

Coldplay Are Talking Tour Plans Into 2027

Coldplay has teased a massive 2027 leg of their "Music of the Spheres" tour during their penultimate Wembley Stadium show. Chris Martin told the crowd, "This tour has 138 more shows to go," and that they'll announce the 2027 dates soon after taking a break. The ongoing tour, which started in March 2022, has already become the highest-grossing rock tour of all time, earning over $1 billion. Martin also hinted at a "really special" project they've been working on for years, likely one of Coldplay's final two studio albums. The band plans to end their catalog at 12 albums, with their 10th album, "Moon Music," released in 2024. Martin told NME that album 11 will be "a musical" and the final album will simply be called "Coldplay." The band has one final Wembley show scheduled for Friday before their break.
