Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, is reportedly preparing to sue at least one of his doctors for alleged medical malpractice tied to a neck surgery he underwent in May.
She apparently believes his phrenic nerve, which controls breathing, was "compromised" during the procedure, leading to the respiratory failure that caused his death in July.
Sky reportedly told 911 that Hulk stopped breathing, which sources for “TMZ” say suggests it wasn’t a sudden heart attack. An occupational therapist present at the time is also said to have told police about possible phrenic nerve damage.
Sky has ordered a private autopsy, though results haven’t been released. While a medical examiner’s report listed a heart attack as the cause of death, police are still investigating.
