The Flowers from Ozzy's Memorial Will Be Turned Into Mulch

It may seem like a pointless gesture to leave flowers at a public memorial for a celebrity . . . but not for Ozzy Osbourne fans.

According to a report, the flowers left for Ozzy at a makeshift memorial in Birmingham, England, will be mulched and scattered by his private grave. He's buried at his estate in Buckinghamshire. He was laid to rest last week.

A dedicated team is supposedly "working around the clock" to sort and process the thousands of items left by fans . . . and thousands of notes and memorabilia left behind will be "preserved and catalogued."

Volbeat Drummer To Miss Four Shows, Former Slayer Drummer To Sub

Volbeat drummer Jon Larsen will miss four shows on the band's North American tour due to a family commitment back home in Denmark. Former Slayer and Testament drummer Jon Dette is stepping in to replace him for shows in Charlotte, Bristow, Camden, and Holmdel. Dette previously filled in for Larsen in early 2022 when the regular drummer tested positive for COVID-19. The band said Larsen will be back behind the drums for their show in Bangor next week. Dette impressed everyone during his previous stint with the band by learning 16 Volbeat songs in less than 24 hours when Larsen got sick during their tour with Ghost. Volbeat frontman Michael Poulsen praised Dette's ability to pull off the challenging task so quickly.

Would it surprise you if your favorite pop star lip-syncs onstage?  Ed Sheeran says he knows many professional singers who do it, but would never admit it.
