A lot of people go on Ozempic now to lose weight. But the downside is you look in the mirror, and suddenly you're REALLY OLD.
CNN.com just did a big feature on how weight-loss drugs like Ozempic might be causing a huge boom in FACELIFTS and other plastic surgeries.
People are losing a ton of weight faster than normal, and it's causing "Ozempic face." That's when you lose weight so fast, your skin doesn't have time to adjust. So you end up with wrinkles and saggy skin. It's more common if you're over 40.

CNN talked to a doctor in New York who claims HE coined the term "Ozempic face."
He says plumping your face up with fillers is a popular option too. But more and more of his patients are following up Ozempic with some true nips and tucks, because, quote, "You can only refill a deflated balloon so much."
There's not enough new data yet to conclusively say drugs like Ozempic are causing a plastic surgery boom. But other experts backed him up and said it sure seems like it.
