Dave Abbruzzese Addresses Rumors He's Rejoining Pearl Jam

With Matt Cameron exiting Pearl Jam, rumors started swirling that 1990s drummer Dave Abbruzzese might return to the band. Is it true? According to Abbruzzese, the answer is “no.” In a July 8th Facebook post, the 57-year-old thanked fans but said he has “nothing to reconcile” and no plan to rejoin. Abbruzzese, fired in 1994 after playing on “Vs.” and “Vitalogy,” noted he hasn’t spoken with bandmates in decades yet wishes them well. He reflected on overcoming personal struggles, working in addiction recovery, and continuing to make music, and asked followers to stop pushing him to contact Pearl Jam’s management. He also addressed disappointment at missing the band’s 2017 Rock Hall induction but said he’s long made peace with their “parted paths.”

Ozzy And Oasis Get Huge Catalog Boosts After Weekend Concerts

One said "hello again," while the other said "goodbye forever." Either way, the first reunion concert from Oasis and the final bow for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath had the same effect when it comes to streaming. Both Ozzy and Oasis saw huge boosts in their catalog's streaming numbers after last weekend's concerts. Oasis’ catalog drew a combined 5.8-million on-demand U.S. streams in the three days following the band’s July 4 show, nearly doubling its streams from the three-day period the prior week. And Ozzy (and his band) saw a similar bump, with Ozzy racking up 4.4-million total streams (up 95-percent over the week prior). Sabbath also saw streaming gains of 104-percent over the same period. Not a bad way to go out - or come back.

Jelly Roll and Post Malone Will Be Back on Tour Again Next Summer

If you weren't able to see Jelly Roll and Post Malone on their Big [Butt] Stadium Tour, do not fret. It sounds like there'll be a chance for you again next year.

Here's what Posty said at a recent show, "Whenever you book a tour like this, you think about who's gonna come on stage and sing every night with you. And the label sent me a long, long, long list of names. I knew in the bottom of my heart there was only one [MF'er] I want to go out and do this with."

Then the crowd all cheered for Jelly. And then Posty said, "And I learned, as of a couple of days ago, that we get to go out and do this [crap] next [effing] summer too, ladies and gentlemen."

There are no further details about next year yet, and whether it will be an extension of the Big [Butt] Stadium Tour, or something different. But the good news is, we know they'll be together again next summer.
