Foo Fighters Drop New Song Honoring Past Band Members
Foo Fighters have surprised fans with their first original material since 2023, a new single named “Today’s Song,” released to mark the 30th anniversary of their 1995 debut album. The single has a lot of personal meaning for the band, especially Dave Grohl; artwork for the single features a white-bird painting by Grohl’s 16-year-old daughter, Harper. Grohl also posted a heartfelt letter thanking former bandmates, including recently fired drummer Josh Freese, early drummer William Goldsmith, guitarist Franz Stahl, and the late Taylor Hawkins, whose influence he called “ever-present.” The release follows the group’s Minor Threat cover drop earlier this week and signals what Grohl describes as “the opening salvo of our next chapter.”

Wiz Khalifa is teaming up with Good Charlotte for a new song. The rapper revealed the surprising collab during an upcoming episode of Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “I just did a song with Good Charlotte, too, before I came out here. I love them." Its apparently a rock collab, though it's not known if it will appear on the band’s upcoming album “Motel Du Cap.” This won’t be Wiz’s first time jumping into other genres; he’s teamed up with Miley Cyrus and Maroon 5 in the past, on “23” and “Payphone,” respectively. The full interview on Bunnie XO’s “Dumb Blonde” podcast will hit her Patreon this coming Sunday, then all platforms on Monday.
