A PARTIAL verdict was reached yesterday in the Diddy trial, but it can't be delivered until it's complete. After 12 hours of deliberations, the panel of 12 jurors (eight men and four women) decided on four out of the five counts.
They decided on the two sex-trafficking charges and the two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. The jurors are still deciding on the racketeering conspiracy charge, so there will be more deliberating today.
Also in court yesterday, Diddy tried to comfort his mom, who was seated directly behind him. He reportedly whispered to her, quote, "I'll be alright . . . love you" while thumping his chest.
He also said something quietly to his six adult children.
