It would be a vast understatement to say that a lot of things have happened regarding Facebook since the movie "The Social Network" came out in 2010.
So Aaron Sorkin is making a sequel that'll focus on the consequences of Facebook becoming the largest social media platform.
It'll be based on an investigation by the "Wall Street Journal" that exposed the fact that the company was actually aware of its own negative impacts, including the spread of disinformation.
The sequel will be called "The Social Network Part 2" . . . at least for now. There's no word if Jesse Eisenberg will return to play Mark Zuckerberg.
