The Top 5 Artists We Like to Work Out To

Where would our workouts be without playlists? And let's be honest . . . how many of us would even work out at all if we didn't have music?

 

 

According to a new poll, the top benefit of music to a workout is that it Increases Motivation. Second is that it Reduces Boredom, and third is that it Improves Focus.

 

 

And these are the Top 5 artists we work out to, in order:  Kendrick Lamar . . . Metallica . . . Taylor Swift . . . Red Hot Chili Peppers . . . and Beyoncé.

 

 

Rock was voted the most motivating genre, with 47% . . . 44% get a rise out of Hip-Hop and Rap . . . and 42% get inspiration from Pop. Electronic and Metal round out the Top 5.

 

 

But Metal and Electronic listeners work out the LONGEST: 49 and 46 minutes, respectively. And Metal fans are most likely to MAX OUT, lifting as much weight as possible. For one rep, anyway.
