Josh Freese, the Foo Fighters’ drummer since 2023, was suddenly fired last week, and he’s obviously taking a lighthearted approach to getting canned. Freese shared a funny list of 10 possible reasons why he was fired on Instagram, drawing a lot of admiration from fans in the comments section. He joined the band after Taylor Hawkins’ death in 2022, playing tours but not recording. The band told him they wanted a “different direction” but gave no clear reason. Freese, who’s played with bands like Guns N’ Roses, Offspring, A Perfect Circle and Weezer, says he’s disappointed but wishes the band well.

Guns N' Roses Experiencing Some Growing Pains With New Drummer
At a recent Guns N’ Roses concert in Mumbai, Axl Rose got upset when the band’s new drummer, Brian Tichy, played the wrong song during the show. Axl stopped the performance, walked off stage, and refused to continue until the setlist was fixed.
