Two Women Left Their Kids in a Car with a Bag of Weed for Hours While They Went to a Bar
If you think there's nothing worse than leaving a kid in a car, alone, for hours . . . these women found a FEW ways to up the ante.
Police in Arizona have just released the body-cam footage of a very chaotic scene, after they responded to a call about a small child running around a parking lot alone at about 11:00 P.M.
Witnesses say they didn't see any parents around, and when they asked the girl where they were, she didn't know. But she did lead them to a car, where there were three more kids, two that were strapped in car seats.
When the cops showed up, they found all four kids . . . the oldest being around four, and the youngest being an infant . . . and a large bag of WEED in the car.
The cops searched nearby businesses for the parents for about an hour, but couldn't find them. Eventually, two women returned to the car.
They initially claimed they'd just gone to the bathroom. When the police mentioned that they'd been gone for at least a couple hours, the women slowly admitted to stopping at a cookie shop . . . and also at a bar "to get a drink."
Police said that both women "smelled like alcohol" and had "slurred speech." They were both arrested. The children were taken to a nearby hospital by the fire department.
It's unclear what will happen to the children, but one of the women said, quote, "Please don't take my kids away from me . . . I know this is super, super bad."
