Get ready for an odd beer pairing: Pabst Blue Ribbon and cheese. PBR is collabing with Yancey’s Fancy, a New York-based cheesemaker, for Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Flavored Cheese. It took six months to create the mashup and it’s a tip of the hat to the beer maker’s brief stint as a cheese company during prohibition. Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Flavored Cheese is a tangy cheddar with a smooth beer finish. The cheese is in stores now.

Portillo’s Honors The New Pope With A Sandwich

Chicago is celebrating its hometown Pope the way it knows best — by renaming an Italian beef sandwich after the Supreme Pontiff. Portillo’s has temporarily dubbed its signature sub “The Leo” in honor of Pope Leo XIV.
