Barry Keoghan Couldn't Look at Ringo Starr When He Met Him

Barry Keoghan is preparing to play Ringo Starr in the upcoming four-part biopic series on The Beatles. To prepare, he went to meet Ringo at his home. And like any fan, he FROZE.

Quote, "It was sort of one of those moments where you're in awe and you're just frozen . . . And when I was talking to him I couldn't look at him. I was nervous . . . He said, 'You can look at me.'

"My job is to observe and take in kind of mannerisms and study, but I want to humanize him and bring feelings to him, not just sort of imitate him."

Barry said Ringo was "absolutely lovely" and they mostly spent their time talking in the garden. Ringo even played the drums for him.

The Who Have Announced Their Farewell North American Tour

If you've never seen The Who, but it's on your bucket list, you have ONE MORE CHANCE. Because they announced their FAREWELL North American Tour yesterday.

The Song Is Over North American Tour will kick off August 16th in Sunrise, Florida.

Roger Daltrey says, quote, "To me, America has always been great. The cultural differences had a huge impact on me, this was the land of the possible.

"It's not easy to end the big part of my life that touring with The Who has been. Thanks for being there for us and look forward to seeing you one last time."

Pete Townshend adds, quote, "This tour will be about fond memories, love and laughter. Make sure you join in."

The Who were actually innovators when it came to the "farewell tour". They launched one all the way back in 1982. But Pete says it was a cash grab by their manager, and he never should have gone along with it.

Pete turns 80 later this month. Roger is 81.

Ghost Becomes Fifth Most Popular Rock Band On Ultimate Guitar

As of yesterday, Ghost has become the fifth most popular rock band on Ultimate Guitar, a major website for guitar tabs and chords. Their tabs have been viewed over 26 million times, beating out bands like AC/DC and System Of A Down, but trailing behind Metallica, Nirvana, Green Day, and The Beatles. The top viewed track from “Skeleta” is “Satanized,” which has been viewed by guitarists over 40-thousand times, but their all-time top set of guitar tabs on the site is “Mary On A Cross,” which has built up over 600-thousand views. Unlike streaming or sales numbers, data from Ultimate Guitar shows active engagement from guitarists and shows what songs musicians choose to learn and play. Papa is pleased.
