It’s JD Vance with the fumble. During a White House ceremony yesterday celebrating Ohio State University's national football championship, Vice President JD Vance, an alumnus of the university, accidentally mishandled the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy. As he attempted to lift the 26.5-inch, 35-pound trophy, its base detached and fell to the ground, while the top portion was caught by running back TreVeyon Henderson. Vance later joked on social media, "I didn't want anyone after Ohio State to get the trophy so I decided to break it." The incident added a lighthearted moment to the celebration, which also featured remarks from President Donald Trump and the presentation of a "TRUMP 47" jersey to the president.

An 80-year-old woman with Alzheimer's is walking across the U.S. to raise awareness for how much of a difference lifestyle changes can make.
Her name is Judy Benjamin. She's got lots of people helping her, and she's confident she can make the trip.
