Will "Hot Dog Towers" Be the Big Barbecue Trend This Summer?
I'm not sure backyard barbecues are supposed to be "fancy," but here's how to elevate yours: HOT DOG TOWERS might be a big trend this summer.
"Fox News" just did a big story on how restaurants are offering them instead of seafood towers . . . because seafood is expensive, and times are tough.
You take a multi-tiered serving platter and put different types of hot dogs around it. All three levels can be dogs, or you can use one level for fries and the top tier for condiments. But don't just load them on there. It's all about presentation.
A place in South Carolina called Sir Wieners is taking responsibility for the trend. They partnered with an upscale place called Lamar's last fall and added a hot dog tower to the menu.
The owner of Sir Wieners says people love it because it's "over the top" and "the perfect mix of ridiculous and delicious."

Buffalo Wild Wings Has Free Food Offers In April
Buffalo Wild Wings has some special free food offers for its Buffalo Wild Wings Rewards Members during the month of April. The campaign is called the “Month of Free” catering to its loyal guests. Here are all of the details:
Guests can receive a free burger with a minimum purchase of $15 and the free burger can be used as a deal for a dining companion, a second meal for later, or a main meal when you purchase appetizers. Other free deals include 10 free boneless wings with a $20 purchase and six free boneless wings with a $15 purchase. That deal is available now.
There are also some free sandwich deals. Starting April 14, guests can receive a free choice of any sandwich on the menu with a $15 purchase, including the new Chicken Parm Melt and Beer Cheese Cheesesteak Sandwich. Not to be left out, there’s a free dessert offer starting April 21 which gets you a free dessert with a $10 purchase. All of these free food offers are available at participating Buffalo Wild Wings locations nationwide.
