During a recent show in Mexico, Shakira paid tribute to her nanny Lili Melgar. Not just because she's a good nanny . . . but because she ratted out Shakira's husband for cheating.
It was Lili who told Shakira a few years ago that Gerard Pique was messing around on her. When Gerard found out, he FIRED Lili.
But once Shakira divorced Gerard, she rehired her. She gave her back pay and offered her royalties on her song "El Jefe".
The song even pays tribute to her with the lyric, "Lili Melgar, this song is for you, since they didn't pay you severance."
It was during "El Jefe" that Shakira brought Lili onstage.
