Happy Employee Appreciation Day! Or, maybe not. A poll for it found most companies are NOT celebrating.
Only 19% of people said their company was planning to do something to thank or recognize staff members today.
91% said they'd appreciate it, and might like their boss a little more if they DID do something today. "Thoughtful," "caring," and "smart" were the top words people used to describe how it would come across.
The top things people would like to get for Employee Appreciation Day include free food, a nice card, and cold hard cash.
