Music News: Guns N’ Roses, Tool, More Join Black Sabbath’s Final Concert

Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Jason Momoa, and more joined the lineup for Black Sabbath’s reunion concert.

Momoa is hosting the event, while Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, is acting as musical director. Ozzy Osbourne also confirmed, on his “Ozzy Speaks” program, that he’s not doing a full set with Black Sabbath, but he’ll be doing “little bits and pieces with them…I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.” The rocker hasn’t put on a full concert since December 31, 2018. Two months after that concert he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. The Black Sabbath reunion show is set for July 5th.

Watch: POST MALONE Fronts NIRVANA Reunion At 'Saturday Night Live' 50th-Anniversary Concert

NIRVANA's surviving members — Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear — joined forces with Post Malone to perform the NIRVANA classic "Smells Like Teen Spirit" during "Saturday Night Live"'s 50th-anniversary concert.

"Saturday Night Live" alum Adam Sandler introduced the supergroup of musicians to the audience on Friday (February 14) at New York City's Radio City Music Hall, saying: "Ladies and gentlemen, Post NIRVANA!"

Post Malone is a huge NIRVANA fan whose 2020 all-NIRVANA covers Livestream (featuring BLINK-182 drummer Travis Barker) will make its vinyl debut in April for Record Store Day.

Five years ago, Grohl had praised Malone's passion for NIRVANA's music, calling his tribute "super cool."

Post Malone Announced World Tour Dates with Jelly Roll 

 

 

Back in November, Post Malone announced the Big [Butt] Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell, that will run from April to July in stadiums across the United States . . . plus one show in Toronto.

 

 

Well now Posty is taking his tour GLOBAL. He just announced the Big [Butt] WORLD Tour with 18 international dates starting on August 8th in Romania . . . and ending on September 14th in Portugal.

 

 

Sierra will not be going on the World Tour, but Jelly Roll will be accompanying him on most of the dates.
