Super Bowl Ticket Prices Drop With Fans Citing “Chiefs Fatigue”
In comparison to last year’s Super Bowl, aftermarket tickets are dropping, and some fans are attributing it to “Chiefs fatigue.” Right now, on Stub Hub, you can find the cheapest ticket in the door priced at $4,400, without fees. Last year, at this same time, the cheapest ticket into the Las Vegas Super Bowl was just over $7,000. Reasons for this are said to include:
- The New Orleans Super Dome has a larger capacity than Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas
- This is the same matchup as the 2023 Super Bowl, so there’s an element of “we’ve seen this before”
- This is the fifth Super Bowl in six years for the Kansas City Chiefs, and, reportedly in the eyes of some fans, there’s an element of boredom over it
