Someone asked 2,000 people to name the top signs the holidays have officially started. And the #1 answer was . . . hearing CHRISTMAS MUSIC on the radio.
Festive music on the radio is #1 with 20% of the vote. Seeing or hearing your first holiday ad is next at 13%. And the sun setting before 5:00 P.M. got 11%.
Regardless of when you think the holidays start, two-thirds of us have already started prepping for them in one way or another. 61% said they've already purchased at least one gift.
64% are also gearing up to travel, and you might need to prepare yourself EMOTIONALLY for it. The average person lasts less than a day before they need some alone time. The average is 19.6 hours.
