Kid Rock Says Trump Showed Him "The Monica Lewinsky Room" at the White House

Kid Rock recently told Tucker Carlson an amusing story about visiting the White House when Donald Trump was in office. He hesitated about telling it at first . . . but he said he had to, because it's "so good."

Kid said it started with him and Trump washing their hands together, and sharing a bar of soap. Kid said it was, quote, "Weird . . . weirdly AWESOME!"

He said Trump then whispered to him, "Rock, come here" and guided him to another room, which was to the left of the Oval Office. That's when Trump said, "You know what this room is? This is 'The Monica Lewinsky Room.'"

If all this seems a little flirtatious to you, that would be understandable . . . and even Kid recognized that their bond was growing.

He said, "Literally, I felt like I was in 'Step Brothers' . . . I'm like, 'Did we just become best friends?'"

Macklemore Lost a Festival Gig for Saying "[Eff] America"

It turns out that going viral for shouting "[Eff] America" at a pro-Palestine concert can have career consequences.

Macklemore has lost his gig as headliner of November's Neon City Festival in Las Vegas. They didn't actually say it's because of his outburst, but the timing seems to sync up nicely.

On top of that, the Seattle Kraken and Sounders FC say they're evaluating their relationship with Macklemore, who's a minority owner of both teams.

Meanwhile, Macklemore issued a lengthy explanation for his outburst on Instagram. He said, quote, "My thoughts and feelings are not always expressed perfectly or politely.

"Sometimes I slip up and get caught in the moment. Saturday night was one of those times." But the post goes on to be VERY critical of U.S. involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
