Jelly Roll's Got a New Album Coming Soon
Jelly Roll just hit up TikTok to tell us how excited he is to announce his new album . . . at some point.
We don't know when it's out, but he said he was going to be a lot more present on TikTok to build awareness. So, it's gotta be somewhat soon, right?
Jelly started the video with, "What's up TikTok! It's your favorite fat person, or one of them . . . I hope, at least . . . I'm not really good at social media but I'm fixin' to announce the biggest album of my life."
He then went on to say, quote, "It's an album I've dedicated literally 18 months of my life to writing, and because of that, I'm gonna be all over TikTok. So y'all please, I'm asking y'all personally, come on this journey with me.
"And don't make fun of me if you see my fat ass doing the cha-cha slide on here."
He also said that the only way the album was going to do well, is if TikTok gets behind it. And nowadays, that seems like the smart thing to do. Jelly knows what's up.

Is Billy Joel's "Piano Man" About a Gay Bar?
Does Billy Joel's "Piano Man" take place in a GAY BAR??? That's a theory that's been kicking around the Internet for several years.
The main argument centers on this lyric: "Now Paul is a real estate novelist / Who never had time for a wife / And he's talkin' with Davy, who's still in the Navy / And probably will be for life."
The theory is that a HOOKUP is in progress between a man who "never had time for a wife," and a guy in the Navy. And there's always been that stereotype about sailors . . .
There's also the fact that the regulars at the bar ask the piano player, quote, "Man, what are you doin' here" . . . as if he's out of place because he's STRAIGHT.
Of course, the most logical reading of that line is that they think he's TOO GOOD to be pounding the keys in some dive bar. But it hasn't stopped the "gay bar" theory from taking hold.
Anyway, Billy Joel has heard this take, and he calls it, quote, "very funny." He also says, quote, "I see how that could be."
But as far as Paul not having a wife, Billy's intention with that line was that Paul was too busy writing his novel to find romance.
