The Hottest New Summer Trend: Sunburns?

 

 

There's apparently a new "look" that's trending on social media this summer: SUNBURNS.

 

 

Not ACTUAL sunburns . . . people aren't THAT crazy . . . just doing your makeup in a way that makes it LOOK like you have a sunburn or are "sun-kissed."

 

 

There are some videos online documenting the process. It can require plenty of bold, red blush. Some people even call this technique "blush blindness."

 

 

Others think it ends up looking "insane" and "too red" . . . and say that if they saw a friend wearing that much blush, they'd "think they got [a] sunburn."

 

 

But that's the idea. One creator said it's their "favorite way to look sunburnt but not damage my skin."
