A "Spaceballs" Sequel Is in the Works from Mel Brooks 

It's been about 37 years since the Mel Brooks classic "Spaceballs" hit theaters. So, it's about time to introduce the "Star Wars" parody to a new generation with a SEQUEL.

 

 

Yup. Nothing is left untouched anymore.

 

 

Not much is known about it though, except it'll be produced by Brooks for Amazon and it'll star Josh Gad. You know, the voice of Olaf in "Frozen". Mel is not writing or directing.

 

 

The "Spaceballs" sequel will be the second time Brooks has revisited one of his films. Last year he came out with "History of the World: Part 2", as a series for Hulu.
