Creed's Scott Stapp And His Wife Are Divorcing.
After 18 years of marriage, Creed frontman Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn have decided to split, with Jaclyn's representative stating she made the difficult decision "after much prayer and consideration." While Scott, 50, intends to "navigate this difficult time privately" according to his rep, Jaclyn's spokesperson says "the welfare of their children will always be her utmost concern." The couple, who met at a charity gala in New York before tying the knot in 2006, had previously separated with Jaclyn, 43, filing for divorce in 2022 and 2023 before withdrawing. Scott ultimately submitted divorce papers in May of last year. Stapp had credited Jaclyn for restoring his faith, calling her "a divine instrument" who helped him get sober in 2015, but they now share three children as they go their separate ways amid Creed's reunion tour and Stapp's new solo album "Higher Power.”
