Criminals: A HOUSTON Gardener Goes After a Thief with a Weed Wacker

A HOUSTON Gardener Goes After a Thief with a Weed Wacker

A gardener in Houston went after a guy who tried to steal equipment from his truck on Saturday and attacked him with a weed wacker. Someone's security camera got it on video.

The thief was a passenger in a car. He fell out onto the street when the car swerved, because the gardener threw his weed wacker at it. Then the gardener picked it back up and started swinging it at the guy.

He got away, but cops tracked him down at a hospital and arrested him.

(WARNING:  The video includes the B-word at :59, and a possible S-word at 1:47. The fun starts at :38.)

A Man Was Arrested for Shooting a Gun in the Air . . . to Celebrate a Divorce?

You could get away with this if you're Yosemite Sam in a "Looney Tunes" scene . . . but not in real life.

A 26-year-old man named Craig Miller is facing more than a dozen charges after he randomly fired MULTIPLE shots in the streets of downtown Nashville.

It happened early Monday. A witness said Craig was at an intersection, "waving a firearm around, and shooting off rounds in different directions."

The police showed up, and asked Craig what was going on. Initially, he denied shooting a gun . . . but he later admitted that he just divorced his wife . . . and fired eight rounds as "a celebration for regaining his freedom."

But Craig wasn't just happy. It sounds like he was HIGH at the time. The gun turned out to be stolen . . . and he KICKED an officer in the stomach while being taken into custody and threatened to kill them. Sounds like his ex is the real winner.
