An Old Man Was Arrested for Shooting at Ding-Dong-Ditching Teenagers
Don't expect any "stand your ground" sympathy if you act like a NUT-JOB just because a kid rings your doorbell and runs.
A 71-year-old man in Utah named Michael Roberts was arrested recently, because he SHOT AT six teenagers, who ding-dong-ditched his home.
The teens told police they were scampering back to their car when the man walked out onto his porch and started FIRING at them.
Fortunately, no one was hit, but there were two "significant dents" in the passenger side rear door of their car.
Michael told police they've been ringing his doorbell for several weeks, and he admitted to firing a "paintball-like gun." He claimed he didn't actually aim it AT the kids. Officially, it's unclear if it was a real firearm or an airsoft gun.
Michael is now facing six counts of aggravated assault.
