Sharon Stone Says She Was Urged to Sleep with Billy Baldwin to Improve...

In her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, Sharon Stone said that a producer tried to make her sleep with a co-star to improve his performance.

She didn't name any names . . . but she's naming them now.

The producer was a powerful Hollywood mogul named Robert Evans. The movie was the 1993 erotic thriller "Sliver." Billy Baldwin was the co-star whose acting wasn't making the grade.

Sharon says she suggested several other actors for the part, but Evans was dead-set on Baldwin. And if she would just have sex with him, it would improve their sexual chemistry and, quote, "save the movie."

She added that she didn't have a chemistry issue with Michael Douglas on the previous year's "Basic Instinct". Quote, "Michael could come to work and just know how to hit those marks and do that line, and rehearse and show up."

In her book, Sharon said that this unnamed co-star . . . who we now know is Billy Baldwin . . . lacked talent and couldn't remember his lines or deliver a scene.

Not surprisingly, Baldwin isn't exactly happy about this.

He Tweeted, quote, "Not sure why Sharon Stone [keeps] talking about me all these years later?

"Does she still have a crush on me, or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?"

He added, quote, "I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I've kept quiet . . . Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky and unprofessional tales about Sharon?"

Robert Evans died in 2019.
