By now, you've heard that Jerry Seinfeld is producing, directing, and starring in a Netflix movie about the creation of the POP-TART. It's called "Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story," and it comes out May 3rd.
And "Empire" magazine revealed an interesting bit of casting: Hugh Grant is playing TONY THE TIGER.
Not, like, a "real" Tony the Tiger. His character is, quote, "the disgruntled Shakespearean actor who, much to his chagrin, finds himself having to don the Tony the Tiger outfit."
Jerry says, quote, "That was the greatest part of the whole thing, honestly, because I am a crazy fan of his. [Hugh] asked me if it matters that Tony the Tiger has a British accent. I told him, 'No, who cares?'"
