Oprah Winfrey is leaving the Weight Watchers board of directors after being a member since 2015.
Of course, it's no coincidence since she announced a few months ago that she's been using a "weight loss drug" like Ozempic or Wegovy.
A Weight Watchers executive says Oprah will donate all of her stock to the National Museum of African American History and Culture. It was valued at around $18 million, but since her announcement, the share price has dropped.
It's in an effort to, quote, "eliminate any perceived conflict of interest around her taking weight loss medications." It doesn't sound like there's any ill will though.
Oprah says she will continue to collaborate with Weight Watchers and be an advocate for weight health and obesity issues.
