Wendy Williams Has Frontotemporal Dementia and Aphasia 

Wendy Williams' team issued a statement yesterday saying she has frontotemporal dementia and also aphasia . . . which affects the ability to understand or express speech.

 

 

These are basically the issues Bruce Willis is dealing with.

 

 

This news came a day after "People" magazine ran a story saying Wendy is living in a facility, under the control of a court-appointed guardian . . . and her family has been shut out of her life.

 

 

In light of this new statement, they're now saying they had no idea about Wendy's diagnosis.

 

 

Lifetime is airing a two-night docuseries called "Where Is Wendy Williams?" starting tomorrow night.

 

 

On the show, Wendy's son Kevin Hunter Jr. says that doctors have linked her health issues to alcoholism.
